Our names are Jakob and Margrét and we are proud owners of Borg Njarðvík Guesthouse.
Jakob is born and raised on Borg farm and is he the third generation to live at this residence. Sources say that farming has been at Borg since the year 1850, but Jakob’s grandfather became a farmer there in 1922. Margrét is born and raised in Jökuldalur valley in Fljótsdalshérað.
We, Jakob and Margrét, took over the farm at Borg little after the year 2000. We have sheep, bulls, chicken and one border collie dog called Trýna.
